Narration
You enter the tangle of old streets of Trastevere. The light changes here faster than anywhere else – now warm and golden, now dim as after a storm that never happened. You reach a small courtyard, where an old wall cracks in the shape of an eye. It’s no coincidence – this place remembers. They say that if you stop there at the right time and stare at the crumbling brick, you’ll see more than just the walls.
Puzzle
Which district of Rome is sometimes called the "cat district"?
(You'll find the correct answer at the bottom of this page, but don't look there right away. Try to answer the riddle yourself first. That's the fun of it!)
Prize
The reward for solving the puzzle is the ninth seal: The Seal of the Secret – a symbol of spiritual heritage. Keep it as proof of your solution to the ninth task!

Curiosities and secrets of Trastevere
Trastevere was not meant to be part of the greater Rome. For centuries it had remained outside the walls, outside the law, outside the control of the emperors. But it was here that Rome learned to live, when the palaces were turning to dust and the marble was losing its meaning. Trastevere is the soul of the city – unholy, restless, and ever-present.
Enter its tangle of streets as if into a labyrinth of memories. Here you don't ask for directions - here the road asks for you.
Fire District
Some say that Trastevere was built on land that “liked to burn.” In ancient times, it was visited by fires more often than other districts. Legends said that the cobblestones held the spirits of exiles and convicts who, furious at their fate, returned with fire. Today, there are no fires, but some alleys at night have… disturbingly warm air.
The district outside the walls
In ancient times, Trastevere was outside the defensive walls of Rome, which is why it was often treated as a place for outsiders – Greeks, Jews, Syrians lived here. Thanks to this, it became one of the most cosmopolitan and colorful districts of the city.
Santa Maria in Trastevere – the oldest church in Rome?
According to tradition, this church was built in the 3rd century and was the first in the city to be officially designated as a place of Christian worship. Its mosaics depict the Virgin Mary wearing a crown, which was extremely rare and daring in the Middle Ages.
Cat District
Trastevere is famous for its wild cats, which are said to be reincarnations of the neighborhood's guardians. They know every road, every courtyard, every shortcut. Many people believe that if a cat crosses your path in Trastevere, the spirit of the city follows you.
