It was supposed to be a normal morning. Coffee, a guide, and a tour of the city. Until an old man in a hat, dressed like from a bygone era, approached you at the Colosseum. He was holding an old envelope in his hand.

- "Stop it… before it’s too late…" – he whispered and disappeared into the crowd.

Inside was a parchment, as if pulled from an ancient tomb. A map was drawn on it, and Latin text:

"Novem Sigilla Urbis – The Nine Seals of the Eternal City. Whoever finds them will learn the truth hidden from people for millennia. But beware – each seal hides a shadow…"

Your hands trembled and a cold shiver ran down your neck. But it was too late to back out…

How to play?

Below I present a proposed rule for the game Mystery of the Nine Seals. This is just a suggestion – you can adjust the rules to your needs.
1. Choose a group leader.
2. The leader receives the full game scenario and leads the group, reading the tasks and puzzles aloud. He should build the atmosphere and draw the participants into the adventure.
3. Each attraction has its own card. The main content, the puzzle, and the GPS coordinates of the attraction you need to reach are always at the beginning.
Further along are additional curiosities and the answer to the riddle. Reading the curiosities is not mandatory, but it enriches the atmosphere of the game and often makes it easier to answer the riddle. Read as much as you like – as long as it gives you pleasure.
To use GPS coordinates, simply tap them on your phone's screen. Your phone's navigation will start automatically and plot the route to your destination. Remember: switch your navigation to pedestrian mode!
If you are using a paper printout, enter the GPS coordinates provided on the printout manually into your phone's navigation system and plan the route.
4. Each participant receives a blank answer sheet (available below for download and printing), on which they write down their solutions to the puzzles.
5. After writing down the answer, the leader checks its correctness and awards seal for a correct solution (below I have included an image with a set of all the stamps. Print out the appropriate number of sets so that each participant can receive a stamp as a reward for each correct answer).
6. The person who collects the most stamps wins, but it's just as well Seal of the Heirs of Rome can be received by everyone (after all, everyone knew the correct answers). The Heritage Seal in the form of a printable image can be found below.

…it's just a suggestion. You can make your own rules! Have fun!

Ideas for changing the rules

The rules I have proposed are very lenient, but there is nothing stopping you from modifying them a bit to suit your own needs:
1. You can only award the final Legacy Seal to one person – the one who collects the most seals.
2. In the case of answers that require a number, if the correct answer is not given, the person who was closest to the correct result is the winner of the seal for the task.
3. You can create your own questions for tasks (even more than one), so that participants do not have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the correct answers in advance (e.g. by downloading the entire game from the Internet). If there are more questions, participants will be able to earn more seals.
