No unnecessary preliminaries
There is no need to praise anyone for the charms of Karpacz. In this post, I will not describe the most popular attractions concentrated in and around Karpacz itself. I will leave admiration for Karpacz and nature descriptions for other entries. Here I would like to post a set of specific information about the possibilities of spending time in Karpacz in winter, related to the available ski slopes, cross-country trails, downhill slopes, along with relevant maps, locations, descriptions of lifts and slopes, the scale of difficulty, accessibility for adults, children, etc.

Descriptions of ski lifts and downhill slopes in Karpacz
Below you will find more detailed data on each of the ski lifts and slopes marked on the map. Each is accompanied by a situational map showing the location of the lift and the location of the nearest parking lots. In the descriptions I also included links to hotels and accommodation offers located near the ski lift. If you like the selected slope and lift, it is worth starting your search with accommodation located in its immediate vicinity. Thus, you will avoid the somewhat onerous commuting and problems with parking near the ski lift. Also, most of the slopes have artificial lighting, so living near the slopes gives you the freedom to go out to the slopes, even several times a day, whenever you feel like going for a ride.

Karpacz Ski Arena (1)
Ski Arena is the largest complex of lifts and ski slopes in Karpacz. There are a total of six lifts of different lengths and several interconnecting ski runs.
The mutual location of the lifts and the route of the routes allow you to move freely between the lifts and the ski slopes.

The routes have three difficulty levels: difficult, medium difficult and easy. They are marked on the map with appropriate colors.

White Jar Winterpol (2)
Winterpol Karpacz Biały Jar Ski Station is one convenient lift, with heated six-seater sofas and covers that protect against snow and wind while driving. Downhill skiing is possible on one of the three terraces of different lengths. The longest slope is 1100 and it is the most beautiful. The other two are slightly shorter (800 m and 600 m) and less gentle. All routes are in the difficulty range between easy and medium.
The slopes are lit and snowed.

Pod Wangiem Ski Station (3)
As the name of the station indicates, it is located near the Wang Temple, but from the bottom station of the cable car it is much closer to the Gołębiewski Hotel than to the Wang Church. The station is located at the back of the hotel, right behind its fence.
You will find two lifts: large (couches) and small (drag lifts).
The slope is gentle and easy (suitable for family reunions), and its length is about 400m.

Routes on the slope of Karpatki (4)
On the slopes of Karpatka hill (727m above sea level) there are three lifts: Karpatka I, Karpatka II and Karpatka Panorama. They are all lit and can be artificially snowed. The slopes in their upper part have a greater slope and flatten downwards. They are well suited for family reunions.
The length of the downhill route on each of them is approximately 350 m.

A ski lift for children and a ski and snowboard school. The center is organized so as to provide various forms of snow games for children. So we have a downhill slope (skis, snowboard), snowtubing, a pontoon track and for the youngest, a transport belt instead of a lift.

Cross-country skiing routes in Karpacz
Unfortunately, the selection of cross-country trails in Karpacz is not as large as the selection of downhill slopes. The offer is limited to two routes.
Tourist ski trail
In good winter weather conditions (snow, of course), there are tracks for runners along the route. They form a 2,5 km long loop.
The trail starts at the Stokrotka resort, ul. Karkonoska 55.
There is a running equipment rental on site (open between 9.00 a.m. and 17.00 p.m., contact phone: +48 512 444 034).

The plain under the snowball
The route is mapped out by the Karkonosze National Park. The starting point of the route is at the upper station of the cable car to Kopa. The route runs partly on the Polish and partly on the Czech side of the Karkonosze Mountains. The route is marked with orange direction signs. They indicate the color of the trail and the length of the section.
The route runs between the following points: Dom Śląski, Spalona Strażnica, Pod Małym Szyszakiem and Lucni Bouda, between which it forms one large loop (or two smaller ones).
